Wheels Up!

The garden grew, but I wasn’t there. Spring rolled into summer and by July we were gone.  The forest and the fire ants cared for my garden. I had hoped this would have been my permanent garden, but once again I had to leave it.  We had to leave Alabama. 2017 had been crazy.

When one leads a non-traditional life I think it is easier to pull up those shallow roots and move on down the road. It is easier for me to recognize when I am in a less than optimal environment. This is because I’ve been there before.  Some people think you are running away from something…but I see it as moving towards a better situation.  We stayed in Alabama for as long as we needed to feel we met our job obligations. We left with new friends not wanting us to leave. But we had to get away from a dragon chasing us.

That was a year ago yesterday.
